We are hoping to re-locate to the Costa Blanca towards the end of this year does anyone
know if stoma supplies would be covered by health insurance or need to purchase separately.
all advice would be appreciated.

Health insurance is unlikely to cover existing conditions, unfortunately. The services provided will depend on the level of cover selected, but to be valid for Residencia application, it usually needs to be fully comprehensive with no excess or co payments.

Hi Keith,
A friend, who is retired and therefore receives a prescription from her doctor for these supplies, opts to pay for them anyway, as she can choose a better option at the Farmacia. Private health insurance doesn't cover prescriptions, so you would need to check whether these may be covered elsewhere in your policy.
