Hi,
does anybody know of a tradesperson in the La Zenia area that can locate and fix a leak in the water supply to the house? It is somewhere between the meter and the house, which are about 20M apart, and the pipe is underground. Thanks

You could be wasting your time and money looking for the leak. Even if you find it what other part of the pipe is going to leak next? Have a complete new pipe fit.

Keyplan,Thanks for the additional input. An urbanization Community is a collection of Residents who agree to abide by certain rules and regulations over matters they all have a common interest in. This is usually a group of properties they all Reside in and often share facilities , I.e upkeep of streets and roadways, footpaths , lightintg and swimming pools etc.
An annual Communal fee is payable by all members of the Community.
If you have a stand alone 'property , this will likely not apply, however you will need to be sure of this before going any further with repair work.
Do you have insurance for your property and if so, have you checked if leakage of underground pipework back to your water meter is covered within the Policy,

Thanks for the responses -much appreciated. We are in an Urbanazion and our insurer went AWOL. We can stomach that just about but would love to get the leak fixed.

Usually most plumbers who are prepared to do some work can fit a new pipe. It happened to me, 2 hour job and €100. Insurance generally no Bob Hope, wear and tear.
