Hi,

My In laws are coming over next year Jan to March and we will be visiting during this time with my 15yr old step daughter.  Can anyone advise places to visit/things to do in February with a teenager

Thanks

Jen

Not much to see. Have dinner at Alingui castle close to San Miguel de Salinas, a good bang for the buck.

Hello

Although not recommending,   but as a long time resident I find Feb to be one of the coldest & often the wettest months of the year so don't rely too much on outdoor activities . Some days will be ok but factor in the colder days & find some inside places to go --- even the normally enjoyable Zenia Boulevard  Shopping Centre   has an open roof so,  no fun if its raining.

Other than the summery beach/pool months I dont know how you entertain a teenager , a lot of places that open in summer are closed in the winter months as it  is so much quieter here then,   but other posters might have some suggestions

Cheers

February is carnival time in Spain, so if your timing is right, there’ll be lots of parades.

Yes weather can be mixed, but if it’s not raining,it’ll warm enough to find a sunny corner and sit on the beach.
Lots of mini golf courses in the area, there’s parks to wander around. Guardamar park has wonderful wildlife.  Every town has a market, there are usually a couple of night time craft markets selling handmade items jewellery, scarves etc.

Again weather dependent, there are usually concerts on the beaches at the weekend

Visit the mud baths at Lo Pagan and the nature reserve near it to see flamingos.

Coach trip to Cartagena, lots of things to see there.

Even a coach trip to Benidorm for the day
