Hi Mark,

If your Irish bank account has an EU IBAN (International Bank Account Number), it shouldn't be a problem to transfer your direct debits from Sabadell to your Irish bank, or to pay bills from that account.  However, Spanish IBANs contain 24 characters, whereas Republic of Ireland IBANs have 22 characters (starting with the country code identifier of IE), so it would be best to check with your Irish bank if that's a problem or can it be solved by, for example, adding a couple of zeros at the end.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Mark H

Open an accout with Wise its an online account, you can setup all your DD's with them as its a Belgium IBAN this is the most cost effective way and close your Sabadell account saves you 45 euros a quarter.
