Cant say i have seen any adult ads on this website, you could try something like adblocker, it works a treat.

Might also be an idea to make sure your anti virus is upto date then give your pc a full scan just to make sure

your pc has not been compromised.

Yes, if you take a screenshot and email it to [email protected] I can advise you on whether you may have a virus unconnected to this website.

I've been sending and receiving multiple PM's during the course of today, and I haven't seen any adverts for "adult websites and related porn" either.  Very kind of Alex to help you sort it out, especially if he's able to identify a virus for you.  Hope you can get it sorted.

Thank you all for your kind efforts. Before we have any hasty jumping to conclusions - I don’t, to my knowledge, visit ‘adult’ website nor porn sites, no matter what Google may decide!!!! Nor does my partner, who just about knows how to switch on his iPad!!!!! Although I do notice that many Spanish websites do seem to elicit a warning from Safari that it’s not secure etc etc and a couple over the past two months or so seem to have returned information which I do not require!!!!!

I rarely use my PC these days, most of the time using my iPad as it’s more convenient. If it happens again, I will take a screen shot and go from there.

Years ago, I remember getting what was known at my company as the "Purple Screen of Death", which was what happened to a computer screen if someone attempted to access "inappropriate" websites.  I was motified and reassurances from Tech Support did nothing to ease my embarrassment.  My sin?  Christmas was approaching and I had searched for "Fancy dress"........ LOL!  ;o)

We have all been there. Many years ago while using my Civil Service PC I accessed (as permitted in break times) the ITV website for the programme Wish You Were Here and used the search facility for All Inclusive Holidays in Jamaica, shock horror it brought up an Eastern European porn site. Aware that something was amiss and someone could see it on my screen I reported it to my manager and so it went up the ladder of management until it was relayed to the Civil Service Technology Team. In the end they had to contact ITV so alert them to the fact their website had been hacked. None of this reduced my level of embarrassment.
