I would check on each ayuntamiento Facebook pages.

Some have been cancelled, some of the bigger ones only announced 3 or 4 days ago that they would still be going ahead. Some have announced they are having static parades, so the crowds can be controlled.  I think most are scaled back and I don’t think sweet throwing is allowed. Some of the smaller towns have yet to announce their decisions I presume they are waiting for covid figures  when they’re announced tomorrow.

It’s impossible to social distance at these parades and thousands of people attend and we all know how contagious omicron is. The ayuntamiento have some really hard decisions to make in the next few days, the children have been so looking forward to seeing the Three Kings, but in letting the parades go ahead the infection rates are going to rocket.

Parades confirmed in Alicante, Alcoy, Torrevieja, La Zenia, Cartagena.

Valencia is cancelled

Static at Guardamar, although they did a small parade in the campo today.

So as stated at the start of the post I think tomorrow will be decision day for most places.

Hello

As Lynn said, the Torrevieja parade is still on beginning at 5.30pm  5th Jan. at the port when the 3 Kings arrive by boat prior to the parade through the streets. Not sure whether Papa Noel will be there this year ( with sweets for the kids)  it might be a smaller parade than normal, but  no more info. available.

Cheers
