You don't want powder, you want a spray can from Leroy Merlin. Costs not far off 20€ but very effective. Follow the instructions carefully.
ORO cockroach spray.
Spray in and around the entrance that they're using if you can't spray directly at the nest. They'll walk the stuff in and kill the nest.
Spray in the evening when they're quieter and all in the nest
