HI, We wish to return to Spain to our holiday home next week and we both have our EU digital vaccination certificates.  Is this sufficient to enter by ferry or do we still need a negative covid test?  If the latter is needed, can we get a Antigen test or do we need a PCR test?  Coming by ferry, a PCR test is not possible within 48-hours as it takes 24-hours for results and the ferry is 28 hours.  All help much appreciated.  Thank you, Cath

Hi Cath,

The Spanish government has an area of their website dedicated specifically to travel by ferry - it also has a link to the Spanish health form, which you also need to complete:

https://spthm.puertos.es/

Kind regards,

Kim

Thank you.  I still can't seem to find out if we also need a negative Covid test along with our digital vaccination certificates.  Best wishes.

As Kim has already mentioned it’s  all explained on her link

As long as you are travelling by ferry into a Spanish port, you just need a double jabbed cert and complete the locator form.

Hello

We flew over, so I am not sure if the rules are different. We did not need a PCR test to come to Spain. We had to show our QR code, to prove that we were double vaccinated, at the airport. We had both paper and digital copies as I had been given conflicting advice. they looked at the paper QR code, but I THINK digital is accepted.

All the best.
