You could help out at one of the many dog charities, many of them would love someone to help walking the dogs.  There is one outside Los Montesinos, they have open day on Fridays where you could meet the dogs first. The council shelter in Torrevieja also has volunteers walking the dogs. &nbs...

...p;There is Finca Castellano in San Miguel who welcome help.  There are lots more.

Hi Jim,

We've got a neighbour here in montesinos who might need your help. She is in her 80s and lives alone. She's a wee bit depressed and lonely at the moment and we are trying to encourage her to rescue a little dog. An older one. This might get her out the house a little but she needs some encouragement and help with the dog when she gets one.  Are you still available? We can't help her as we already have a German shepherd that takes up a lot of our time and energy.  Plus we go away a lot. Please let us know if this appeals to you. Cheers david and carol

Ps we live in town.
