Please can anyone give me some tips on selling a property by a non resident.
Also what are the rules regarding having to have a Power of Attorney for non resident’s sales of properties.

You need a NIE identification, and a bank account in spain. You can ask help directly to a real estate agency, or an attorney or a notary office.

If you plan to handle all details of the sale yourself---- advertising, all viewings ,bank transactions, notary visits etc etc you dont need anyone to act as power of attorney i.e. gestor/solicitor)
If you are not intending to manage all of these things, then you can appoint someone & give them power of attorney to handle things on your behalf.
