Hi

I'm in Moraria and would like to know where the nearest police station is to get Residencia & my NIE number. It is not in Moraria I got waved away this morning by an un helpful assistant.

Thanks

Wherever it is you're after the days of walking in and being attended to are long gone, Brexit panic has seen to that.

Now you have to make an appointment for anything and assuming they are being dished out at at all you can expect to wait many weeks or months for one.

Wherever you went, I'm not surprised that you got waved away. There isn't a national police station in Moraira.

Thanks for the replies. But my question is where do I need to go? Is it the police station in Denia?

My guide includes a link to a list of all the national police stations. Take your pick, as long as the office is in the province where you live.

You'll need to go to the police station in Benidorm (old town)

You just turn up with your documents and wait your turn

Hope this helps
