Just wondering if anyone has visited Novelda and can give us any info. We are planning on putting it on our list for a property search in a few weeks time. It seems to have good transport links to Alicante as you can get a direct bus or the train to Novelda-Aspe station 10 mins away.
I have had a look around on google maps and it seems nice enough but would appreciate and thoughts from someone who has visited.

Take your time - you will ned it and also a lot of persistance. Best time for buying properties is Nov to Feb. To get an idea try to find out the so called "valor de referencia" for each object,easily available online. I live since 40 years near Fortuna with an interesting multinational expat community.
