Hi to all,

After a couple of weeks of trying I managed to get my temporary SIP card. After registration on line I was given a SIP number and told my local healthcare centre was “CA Oliva S Francesc”.

I went along on Monday last (19th April) with my documents and SIP number, I was issued a temporary SIP card and they also registered me for the COVID vaccine. I was called up yesterday to have my first shot at the main health centre in Oliva, theyhave set up a tent there although I and other waiting in line ended up going to the adjacent emergency entrance.

My second shot is on the 12th of May, so all good for me and I wish you all the same success.

Although I have had a couple of weeks of to and fro most people have been very helpful, so many thanks to them.

Good luck and stay safe

Peter

Hi Peter,

Congratulations and many thanks for the update.

My husband (aged 63) had his first AstraZeneca jab at Torrevieja last week and I (aged 60) have mine on Monday.

Kind regards,

Kim

I have not had my covid vaccine yet. I am 65 and in the UK I was told to "shield". Does anyone have an idea when I might be called for my vaccine? I am in Oliva.

Hi, have you registered yet? If not that’s you first step. After that they normally get in touch within a few days by text or call you. There is a full program of COVID vaccine in Oljust now so hopefully your get there very soon.

Thanks Peter

I have a SIp card and had my first meeting with the doctor in November.I had blood tests in January but  I have heard nothing about my referral to a specialist re RA.

My doctor does not speak English and my Spanish is not yet up to it!

Hi Linda,

Do you have a Spanish phone number and have you checked that your health centre has it noted on your record?

Kind regards,

Kim
