There are several large Chinese stores in the centre of Oliva which sell these items, including one on the next block behind the Correos on the paseo, and another more on the south edge of town.

If you want to go a little upmarket, you could drive 10km south to the Portal de Marina shopping complex where you have a Carrefour superstore, and homeware stores like Jysk and Casa, plus three more large Chinese stores.

But we don´t have Walmart in Spain.,and no desire for it.

Danish company JYSK is excellent for household goods, possibly more upmarket than Walmart though.

Local Chinese usually have everything, quality varies.

Cheers, J

Hi

There is a vast range of choice of shops in Gandia. If you go into town, there are lots of traditional stores many of which sell excellent bedding etc. Just remember these close for siesta and on a Saturday afternoon and Sunday. There is a large underground carpark, which although it charges, the cost isn't very much. (Or you can park for free over the other side of the bridge).

There is also Zara Home store, and at least one other shop that sells bedding in the La Vital Shopping Centre in Gandia, and on the opposite side the road a huge, 3 storey, Chinese store.

Around the corner there is a large Carrefour. (Which is the nearest to a Walmart type store as it sells pretty much everything).

Opposite Carrefour is another small shopping centre that has a couple of electrical shops. (Plus for later reference a bowling alley and cinema).

Just off the N332 in Gandia there is a JYSK and another large Chinese store, plus a Pepco that has nice some homeware things. (Opposite them is Leroy Merlin for DIY which also has curtains, lighting and much more.

Hopefully this is enough for you to find what you need. :-)

One word of warning - don’t buy anything electrical or mechanical from any chinese store because if they don’t work you’ll not get a refund.  Consumer rights are not adhered to.
