Hi,

We are renting out shortly. We have asked a electrician to give a safety certificate.

Can anybody tell me if an electrician gives a Boletin certificate do they actually carry out checks on the electrical circuit, or do they just supply a certificate once the upgrade of power is done.

Hi. When you ask an electrician for a boletín, you are asking him to certificate that your electric installation is safe and according to Spanish regulations.

That means that he has to go to your house and check your electric installation. Once checked,  if everything is ok, he will write a report and after sending it to 'ministerio de industria', you will obtain your boletin.

Kind regards
