The application process for a Spanish can be quite tough. You need all your legal paperwork to demonstrate you are a resident. You will probably need to hire a translator to go to the school and help you with the registration process.

Make no bones about it is going to be tough for your son. Thrown into a class where they are speaking a different language.

The alternative, private international school. 750e per mth and a lump sum up front for registration.

Kids are resilient. I work in a school in the UK and I’ve just admitted a boy from Spain with no English. After four days, I saw him in the canteen having lunch with his new friends with a big smile on his face. It really doesn’t take them long to settle.

Good luck

Shaun
