Anyone got any ideas on when / if the beach bars on PP front will re-open? Visited our apartment a couple of weeks ago and found they were closed (no licences according to the local press). I find it hard to believe bars could be open for so long without..... hope it isn't the residents of the "blue monstrosities" who have caused the bars to close.

Most people say that once the council closes something it will never re-open.

As to the blue monstrosities and the other nondescript plain block ( like inner city council block), they should never have been allowed.  They spoil the natural landscape.

We don't want to look like Benidorm.

I have been coming to Punta Prima for many years, loved it so much we ended up buying a property.

The 2 beach bars closest to the Nautilus closing was a real ‘shot in foot’ moment for the council if they were indeed to blame. They were a huge draw to that front and there is plenty of business to go round. I doubt very much the money has been retained in the area. As for the high rise buildings, its pure commercial greed and selfishness. Money talks, if you know what I mean! Feel so sorry fror the properties behind whose fabulous views have been robbed. Cant really take any positives over the redevelopment at all.
