Property I want in Relleu

There is a property in Relleu I want to purchase.  It is a bank repossession. I have been in contact with the agents, sent them every detail they could possibly want a week ago to put in the offer I was prepared to pay, and contacted them his morning and they had not even looked at the email.  The agents are instructed on behalf of the repossession bank and say they will send the details to the bank soon.  I only want to know if the offer will be accepted before I go into the detail of buying it!  The agents are nice people but oh so slow and as we are in England and not in Spain this is proving difficult, a bit like walking through treacle.  I have contacted a solicitor who tells me they do not deal with agents, and the agents do not speak hardly any English and we hardly any Spanish.  We are at a stalemate as the bank will only deal through agents.  Can anyone help me in this quest please?  Many thanks Vanessa

Have a look for the property on Idealista.com and fotocasa.es most of the banks have their own property agents where you deal direct with the bank.

Chance is you will find the property directly listed by the bank. Banks will deal direct.

Have you viewed the property? Some of the bank repossession listings are missing the full picture. Example - I’m looking at a repossessed property up the coast. The bank pictures don’t look to bad. Fortunately I used to live in the property. My friend defaulted on the mortgage 8 years ago. It’s been empty since then.

The pictures don’t show the swimming pool. It’s been full of water for 8 years and is now green slime with a white powder coating on the sides. The living room has a damp mark in the rear corner. The don’t show the room next to that corner. That rooms probably black with damp, the flat roof runs in that direction. The images hide a damp mark on the rear bedroom where the tiled roof leaked. It’s not a property where you would just offer a bid without viewing. Internal fixtures have been removed. 

My offer will reflect the cost of renovating the property. Probably less than the bank is asking. It’s a buyers market. I will offer whats a reasonable amount for the property in the current condition. If the bank delays or refuses the offer move onto another property. If they counter offer I will raise the original bid by 5%. I actually know the original mortgage default cost on that property. 

I would make an offer to the agent and specify a timescale. This is my offer it stands for 30 days. If theres no response. Move onto another property. Theres no shortage of available properties.

We just bought a bank repossession in Relleu we had the keys within 4 weeks. Our solicitor was amazing and chased it. We got a 3 bed villa for a ridiculous price on a lovely complex.
