Does anyone know how far away an overhead electricity cable needs to be in relation to a new build house? I think someone mentioned 15 metres a while ago but cannot really remember.

Also, if the only place on my land I am allowed to build on without having to get neighbour permissions due to proximity of boundaries, is the site of the previous "ruin" (now demolished with permission of the town hall) and this area has the overhead cable running above it making it impossible to build there safely, would the town hall allow us to position the new house slightly out of the area to comply with the overhead cable building regulations?

Perhaps someone in the town hall at Relleu could be passed this message on by someone in the community there?

Or maybe someone who works for the electricity company there could help please?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Yours sincerely

Sharon

Hello

I think you should contact the  Town Hall in Relleu yourself rather than hope for someone else  'pass  on'  the messagefor you.

The information you need is important to  you,and needs to be accurately received ...they might need to see plans or details of your purchase etc . Asking what the town hall will allow you to do re- building,  can only be answered by themselves,  so make an appt to see someone , they might speak to the electricity supplier on your behalf regarding the overhead cable.

If your spanish is insufficient for an appt. then take a translator with you, you should find someone locally.

Cheers
