In a couple of month or when I’ve had my jabs, I will be travelling back to the UK in my car.

I intend to use the ferries from the North of Spain to Portsmouth or Plymouth. I’m aware that I will need a COVID test  before I leave Spain and that an onward destination form will be and presented in the UK.

Now for the questions.

Does anyone know what my status, vis-à-vis isolation will be when back in the UK and is it possible to get a test and back to the UK within the 3day time frame, bearing in mind I’m on the ferry for a day.

Forgive me if this topic has been aired before, and thanks in anticipation.

We’ve just arrived in the UK. We left Santander for Portsmouth Saturday afternoon, a 30 hour trip. We had our PCR test on Thursday morning, results that evening by email. Left home Friday morning and spent the night in Santander. Plenty of time to stay inside the 72 hours test before departure stipulation.

Hi

Im in the UK, and we are not allowed to travel only for legal reasons as you probably know,  As of May 17th is when we can travel but he as  put Green Amber Red corridors on where we need testing on some corridors, so things might change before you travel, we are looking to get over but he is  talking about  2 to 3 tests need each with tests for coming back. Hope Im making sense, but for some families it could £600 , there talking like we can go to Barbados and Bahrain,
