This is not Edinburgh. And the council in that city is a coalition labour/Tory in order to oust Snp

Complain to the town hall.   Ciudad Quesada comes under the jurisdiction of Rojales and every town hall contracts the rubbish removal company that is used by them.

This is always one of the two most talked about topics in Quesada.  Emptying bins and the lack of buses! The bins are full everywhere at this time of year, but I agree no matter what time of the year, they are always overflowing as Rojales council only use  the smaller size container bins. They change contracts on a yearly basis and it doesn’t seem to get any better. People constantly complain both direct to the council and to the local councillor, but you have more chance of seeing a bus than seeing an empty bin!

Where I live the bins are emptied 364 days a year  (we give them Christmas Eve off) and  most of the time within a 15 minute timeframe every evening.

We have had an uphill struggle with Linea Verde about replacing our broken bin. They've not yet done it!  They have now added a plastics bin and bottle bin and now outside our house is like a rubbish tip! People dump garden rubbish, unbagged and now old and broken furniture. They stop in cars and add to the mess. We contact Linea Verde frequently, because no one else will do it. They do collect   garden rubbish and  sometimes it can take quite a long time before they arrive!  As yet no replacement for the broken bin after many months! It's looking like Steptoe and Son junk yard outside our houses now !!
