Thanks RayD for your advice,We got our padron and sip card from the same place the town hall in Rojales we then went to the medical centre to see about prescriptions a doctor gave us a prescription for our medication,I checked the S1 form and it says on it before you go to inss to hand it in you need to have your padron and a certicate of residence but i can't get this till we're here 3 months so do I keep hold of my S1 form till I get residency and do we need health cover to get our residency or does sip card cover this am a bit confused some people saying you need health cover to get residency does sip card cover this and are we covered the now if anything goes wrong health wise Thanks again Billy

First get residency. An S1 is all you need for proof of health cover.

Then go to INSS.
