How long does it take for a transport firm to move belongings from Essex to Spain..... apparently 7 to 10 days ?????

Just a guess here, but if the company do a weekly run and are carrying several loads at once, and you´ve just missed one run, that would seem about right.

Or even longer if you then discover that removers not actually doing job hemselves but subcontracting to other international haulier some considerable distance away from their storage facility in UK!!!!

I used Got Transport Services from Sax in Alicante region and delivery was 3 days from collection in the Midlands to La Marina.

HGV driver's  have to take regular breaks. Also there are usually drop offs. I shared a removal company and it took 5 days.

Remember they are a business not your best friends.
