Hello everyone:)

We are the young family of three with 9 year old son who have just bought a holiday apartment in Rojales. Coming there over and over again made us thinking of moving there pernamently and start a new chapter under the sun. I know though that it will come with many challenges and shocks:) so here I am,asking all of you lovely people to give me some advices and tips,to share the stories of your own and help me do a good reality check:)

Things like schools, language barriers, living costs, opening new business, making friends,heatlcare...Romantic stories as well as the scary ones are welcome😆

If you can spare a 5 minutes to share your story with me I would be extremely gratefull.

It would be a big step for us and I just want to make sure it would be the one in the right direction.

Kind regards,

Kate

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Thank you so much for your response.

Spanish language is something we work very hard on at the moment and we want to work even harder when we move there.I want to be able to socialise as much as possible and be able to get into the Spanish culture and way of living.

It seems like everyone I speak to is giving a high reccomendation for the local school in Rojales so I might actually give it a go as the International school seems very expensive.

Is that true that autonomo is extremely expensive in Spain?
