Scroll down almost to the bottom on the right hand side and you will find Jim's Guide to Spain where you will find everything you need to know. Travesty, this should be right at the top!

Hi Billy,

Whilst we're still EU citizens, you have up to 90 days to apply for residency, but with Brexit on the horizon, I'd recommend applying for it as soon as you arrive in Spain.

In the meantime and if you haven't already done so, as you're drawing UK State pension, you need to contact DWP Newcastle to apply for an S1 to transfer your free healthcare to Spain - call the Overseas Healthcare Team in Newcastle on +44 191 218 1999 or email them at [email protected]

Like Cheryl, I would recommend reading "Jim's Guides" (I also wish that the link appeared at the top of the page, rather than underneath all the advertising).

Kind regards,

Kim
