Hi, I'm looking for advice on Spanish and English Wills.

I'm moving over to Spain at the end of September and will have a Spanish will prepared once I'm there and I will have my Spanish will written to state that my English will takes precedence and that my will should be administered under English inheritance law. (or whatever the correct text is)

My question though is... Does my English will which I am about to have re written need to reference my Spanish will in any way ?.

Thanks, Paul.

The ability to make the choice is enshrined in EU Regulation 650/2012, which came into effect in 2015. This will still be applicable post-Brexit, as it's the country of residence that matters - not the resident's nationality.
