Where to buy a property close enough to travel to Alicante/Torrevieja and Elche

Hi there ,
My husband and I are currently living in Valencia area and we are planing to move furhter south. Because i will need to find a job we need to carefully choose a location that is within travel distance to cities with potential job offers.
In an ideal world we find a small house with a terrace or small garden and sea views. We do have a few cats with us so if it is something with communal grounds we need to be sure the cats are not a problem.
Any suggestions where to look?
