Hi

Can anyone advise what the best way is to either, transfer money from English bank to Spanish bank every time you need capital, or, move banks and bank entirely in Spain? We want to spend some months in Spain and wondered which was the best way. Many thanks

Ellie

Suggest using one of the many transfer sites. Money wise, money transfer, we use IFX. They are free to join and very efficient, e.g if we ring before 12 the money goes into our Spanish bank by 3 the same day. Many folk will advise other companies too. It’s worth joining 2 or 3 for comparisons. Very easy!

Best, Karl

As a non resident you will find it hard to avoid bank charges with a Spanish bank and although not the cheapest, I find Sabadell the best for ease of use and finding someone who speaks English.
