I am in the process of opening a bank account with Sabadell bank. Are there charges when transferring euro to this bank using iban from another EU euro account? Thanks in advance.

I'm with Bankia and do fairly frequent transfers to other euro accounts, to other EU countries as well as Spain, and neither I nor the recipients have ever had a charge levied.

I'm not a permanent resident and bank with Sabadell.  i have a Key Account Plus. No charge to lodge Euro from my Irish bank account.  There are quarterly charges BTW.

Okay, charges for me are around 35 euro per quarter. More than Ireland, but I understand charges in Spain are normal.

There are quarterly charges for non-resident accounts, but as you're intending to move here then resident bank accounts can be free, especially if your pension or a regular sum is paid into the account.
