Someone is transferring €822 to my Sabadell account from their NatWest U.K. account.

Has anyone been charged the €18 after receiving a NatWest money transfer?.

Hi Bob,

I got charged and I'm with Caixa Bank. So what I do is transfer pounds from my barclays account to transfer wise then transfer it from transfer wise in euros to my Caixa bank then they don't charge.

Thank you Caron, it’s an insurance company so they are not bothered to change their procedure. Did you get charged from a NatWest bank?.

Kind regards

If it has a UK IBAN code you will be charged by the receiving bank.

Hi Bob

It was Caixa Bank in Spain that charged me. But if you use transfer wise it has a Spanish IBAN number so now I don't get charged.

Bob, if you still have a UK bank account, then best to get them to pay it into that, then transfer via Wise.

If not, then I think you have to suck up charges at both ends.

Best
