Hi folks.

I am having an air-conditioning unit installed later in October in our apartment with a commercial company called Milar. They have an outlet in Torrevieja. We bought a TV earlier this year with them. I was sent an email asking me to send some money "non specified" to their account in advance. I do have an overall price for the job but I'm getting them to confirm that again with me in an email. So my question is really: Is it a typical practice for this kind of cash advancement asking. Are there any other safety checks needed in place. They seem a reputable business. We're not living in Spain as such but will obviously be over to see the job completed.

Kindest Regards

Tommy
