Hi Joan and Welcome to The Forum.

Your topic has been discussed several times on The Forum and many opinions given on which Bank gave the best service. There was not one Bank that was found to be in overall favour ,but many different opinions were voiced.

If you scroll down the forum page until you see a section that has the banner title of " Jim's Guides " , click on it and amongst many useful topics listed you will see one guide listed as " Banking in Spain " . I think you will find its advice of use.

All good what RayD has spoken of.

Joan ,another point worth bearing in mind for future reference , when you do obtain an account ,is that the Daily withdrawal limit at cash machines in Spain, can be as high as 1000 euros ,so be extra vigilant in protecting your card and PIN.
