Does any body know if you can bring satellite cable in your hand luggage
I'm looking at bringing 25 meters of shotgun cable on a Ryanair flight for my humax freesat box, also looking at bringing clips as well but I suspect that the pins(masonry nails) would not be allowed.

You can buy shotgun cable and clips here, it makes no sense to bring them over from UK !

You say your airline is Ryanair. I am not sure if you know they changed their baggage policy late last year.
It is now possible to put a 10kg bag in the hold for approx £10 - £12 . You could put in this bag the items you specify in your post with no problem. It could replace your Priority booking which includes the 10kg carry on bag or you can add it as an extra, whichever suits your needs.
