Hi

Does any body know if you can bring satellite cable in your hand luggage

I'm looking at bringing 25 meters of shotgun cable on a Ryanair flight for my humax freesat box, also looking at bringing clips as well but I suspect that the pins(masonry nails) would not be allowed.

Thanks Neal

Hi Neil,

You asked this question yesterday and were given quite a few suggestions. Have you read the replies ?

I hope all goes well for you Neal.

Hi, I have fallen foul of this.

I tried to bring a small reel of cable once and it got confiscated because it could not be X-rayed. It shows as a solid lump.

If you want to bring just a coil you will probably get away with it.

My best advice would be to put it your hold baggage.
