Hello  All

I have just  purchased a new apartment in central Torrevieja and  am finding it very difficult to  find out whether  fibre optic  broadband is available in my building.  There appear to be cables everywhere but I can't easily find out  who has installed them.,   So far, every company that I have approached  disclaims any knowledge of it. The apartment does have an ADSL line currently with Ole Comunicacion but they offer only 6mps which seems very poor for the centre of town.  It seems to be an absolute minefield compared with the UK where you can find out very easily what your potential  broadband  strength will be.

Any advice gratefully received.

Graham

Thank you very much for this link.  The problem is that there is such a variety of providers, so many different offers and so many platforms.  I hoped there might be some system analogous to that in the UK  where one can find out  available  broadband provision, or the companies that  offer coverage in the immediate area,     by typing in ones postcode, but alas, no. Obviously, once in residence one can  seek recommendations from fellow residents, but that doesn't help if one wishes to make any advance arrangement.
