Hi Dave., apart from having to use a plug adaptor, or preferably swapping the UK 13 amp plug for a round pin Schuko plug, You should have no problems operating any U.K. purchased Electrical equipment in Spain. The electricity supplies throughout Europe have been harmonised in order to allow for no restrictions in trade between Manufacturers of Electrical  / Electronic products  in different Countries.

It's not widely known that the Schuko round pin design was used in Ireland up until about the 1960s , and its origin lay in inter war Germany .                                               I, myself, am actually bringing over to Spain a UK purchased TV in the next few weeks.

Anyone able to put a plug on for me ?. 😀

LeckyLes.

Hi all , back in the U.K. they have Sky giving you every channel, I was paying £90 a month for full package  ,  we are moving out to Villamartín in May permanently, does Spain have anything similar that provides all U.K. channels , sport , I think the place where buying has fibre optic internet , thanks .

The Amazon fire stick or box work very well in Spain and you can get all sky channels inc. sport at a very reasonable cost about €45. Also BT and all terrestrial channels. I have two and they both work well

Hi

This post is two years old, but no matter!

The simplest answer is Carrefour, next to Habaneras, but there must be other places in Torrevieja.

If you have a car, you could also look at MediaMarkt, AlCampo and others at La Zenia Boulevard.

Cheers

Steve
