My brother ( a visitor from UK ) spotted something about a E42.50 bus card/ ticket for a month's unlimited travel on local Torrevieja buses. Haven't found it myself...has anyone seen this or know of anything similar?

You can get an Avanza tarjeta Bus card from the bus driver. 2euro for the card and first top up is 20euro. Every trip then costs only 60c so the 20euro is a lot of trips.

Yes you just have to scan it twice for 2.
