Bus stop in Alicante

Hello

 To get the bus to Torrevieja  from ALC train station you need to go the bus station nr the port. It is about 15-20mins walk or you could get a taxi, which wouldn't cost much.

There is also a bus station in Torrevieja town centre where you can  either change buses or get a taxi for your onward journey https://torrevieja.com/estacion-de-autobuses-de-torrevieja/

You may have a good reason for the timing of your trips, but just to say that it would be a lot easier to take a train from Alicante to Madrid before going to Torrevieja.

Thank you Steve for suggestion but  Torrevieja will be our base for the month.  We arrive on a Tuesday and take airport bus.  We going to Madrid on the Thursday staying overnight and  arrive back in Alicante at 7.00 pm on the Friday.   Going from Alicante find it simpler to hop back on the airport bus then take the Alicante bus which will drop us off at the train station but it will be too late to do the same on the way back.

It shows the C6 goes between airport, bus station and train station ( and other stops),  the route to Alicante would be more frequent and should you hit a hiccup with times then the 900m walk or taxi ride  is much nearer than the 12km distance from the airport.

I must have misread your request sorry -  I thought you were trying to get from Torrevieja to Alicante railway station, and return, which I why I found that link.

Alicante to Torrevieja from Alicante Train Station. You can take the C6 bus from the train station down to the Bus Station. It is just 2 stops on the bus or walk approx 1 kilometer straight down Avenida Oscar Espla to the Bus Station on Calle Muelle Poniente. (By the way the C6 bus goes to the Airport every 20 minutes which is another option for you to get the direct bus from the Airport to Torrevieja. The C6 stops at the same bus stop as the Torrevieja bus stop outside Departures)  

You get the Avanza Bus from the Bus Station in Alicante to Torrevieja. They are Red buses and you buy your ticket from the machine.

There is another bus service  Alicante/Cartagena that serves Torrevieja called  BAM Bus (a dark blue/purple bus) which also stops at Alicante Airport but it has a very limited timetable and the last bus leaves Alicante in the early evening so no good to you this time.
