Anyone travelled from torrevieja  to la zenia  and back on bus with a wheelchair

My husband is in a  wheelchair just wondering is there certain buses  he can travel on only I cant find any details on  sites

Hello Caroline,

 You will probably need 2 buses tp get to Zenia Boulevard, depending where you live in Torrevieja. You need to get to the main bus station first ( opp. the new Mercadona) & then a bus to Zenia Boulevard.... I did it last week.   As Ive said before,  you never know how reliable the  access facilities will be on the bus until it turns up, it shouldnt be that way, but as a regular bus user, I know it is.

 The fare for 2 people would be €6.20 total - one way, by bus. From outside the bus station, a taxi would cost approx €8. 

 My suggestion would that you call Torrevieja Radio Cabs ( link below) & ask about a taxi to accommodate a wheelchair & get a quote from wherever is convenient to you
