I have Jaguar X trype 4 door.  It has 56,000 kilometres on the clock.  Its year is 2008 and is left hand drive auto, leather interior and in great condition with obvious very low mileage as it was a gift to the wife of a Jaguar dealer and she never really used it.  I am looking for 6000 euros for it.

It’s not too big for anyone. I used to drive an S type jaguar, 3 litre which I loved so much. I used to call it Joy!   It was a joy to drive. A fast car is the safest as can always get you out of trouble if necessary. I was so sad when my husband traded it in for a new car. I moaned and moaned as a new car was never going to be as classy as Joy!!  Those were the days. The new Jaguars of today  don’t look as handsome as the older ones. Still great cars but not as good looking.

My advice is to test drive the car. Ladies don’t have to drive small cars. You’ll love it.

'Its not too big for anyone' Maybe the op should be the one who decides. Maybe she wants a small car thats easy to park in small places. To some a Jag may not be a big car but if you are used to a mini then it's massive. Maybe, and this is just a Maybe, the op could possibly have a size in mind and a Jag just may be too big for her.

Hi Gilly,

whatever car you buy it is worth considering the emissions standards in Spain, see attached from the N332 website:

https://n332.es/categories-and-definitions-of-eco-stickers-in-spain/

Not much of an issue around here at the moment but at some point they will be implemented in the Costa Blanca's larger towns and cities.

Rgds,

Aitch.

Hi Aitch. I hadn't actually read the dates on the cars before. Where do classics fit into this as it basically says from 2000 onwards. What about pre 2000? Just interested as there is quite a large classic scene on the costa blanca. I personally own a 0 rated car but had numerous classics before moving here full time.

I am no expert, but this Jag is basically a Ford Mondeo ( with very little "platform' modification). Just as regards it's size. & a reasonable reputation. V
