Changing UK car to Spanish plates

Hi
I know I have to get my head Lights changed and tow bar removed for the ITV.
My fog lights and reversing lights are ok.
Do they allow me to keep a UK speedo reading MPI?

I am coming to Torrevieja to live in about 8 weeks time. I am am a keen cyclist and was hoping to bring my bikes on a bike rack on the back of a Ford Galaxy. After reading your post you have me worried as the bike rack attaches to the tow bar. In your post about applying for Spanish plates you mention having to remove the tow bar to get a ITV. Where do you get this info from? And can't I use a tow bar mounted bike rack? Any advice on this would be much appreciated

i have a spanish car with towbar, as far as i am aware in spain a towbar must be a genuine manufacturers equipment, must be fitted by an approved garage and certificate supplied and registered on the the reg doc
