So I am planning to relocate to torrevieja next year , I keep hearing and reading so many posts that it will be almost impossible to do this without a hefty amount in your bank . Is this true ? I am a cash buyer will this help me at all .

Really hoping my dream is not short lived🤔🤔

After 1st January 2021 you will need to have had a Spanish bank account for the last three months with either €9000 or an income equivalent to €25000 per year or €32000 as a couple.

To gain residency you will need to prove that you have enough income to satisfy the authorities you won't become a burden on the state and that you have full healthcare cover for you and your family.

Cash payment for a property or even owning a property makes no difference whatsoever to gaining residency.

I recommend you read Jim's Guides that can be found in the drop down menu on the left side of this page or the tab at the top of the page. Jim's Guides have all the information you need to know about living here legally in Spain.
