Can anyone advise me whether there is anything to visit/see/participate in in Torrevieja 17, 18, 19th Aug?  I'm taking my 10yr old Grand daughter over for a brief visit but would love to be able to involve her in something local?

We can visit the Main Market on Friday morning but other than that is there anything else on offer that wknd?

This is a good website for the Tourist office (see link below) and if you get time pop in the office  there too , its near the Marina and they have loads of helpful information and the staff are brilliant too and will tell you what's going on:

Thanks but there's no mention of the Market or any concerts, etc available during August - it's a fairly generic Site with no listings!

May be best to pop in the Tourist office near the Marina when you get there as it's a very good one.

Most events are not officially publicised until a couple of weeks before.
