Hello all bit of advice pls we have a lemon tree and other trees on border of our patio but loads of bugs n mossies frm them also patio is uneven do i need permission to take them down and would cause problems to foundations of house and walls thankyou

Hi. The short answer is yes and yes. Seems they have been planted too close to the terrace. With best of intention this happens quite a lot as growth is underestimated. As you rightly thought the roots will have grown under the terrace. My advice would be to get in touch with a professional gardener to come and have a look and see what solutions he can come up with. Good luck.
