Hi, I moved a piece of furniture in a bedroom away from the wall, the wall, the piece of furniture was against was a external wall, although not to bad there was signs of Mould on the wall, where the piece of furniture had stood, I went to other rooms where furniture stands against external walls and much was the same, please note the furniture is not right against the walls there is a good half inch Air? gap due to the tiled skirting,   as I said the Mould was not to bad and I washed it off with a bleach spray. Now my question is,   Is there a good internal emulsion paint that anyone could recommend or do I start looking into ventilation/insulation/heating/humidifiers/dehumidifier projects? and if any what would you recommend, as said its only the external walls, mainly one side of our property as we are semi attached to the side and partly above? As for any external wall work, I would have to see/speak to the community admin?  but to tell the truth a good paint externally would make the buildings look 10 times better, So if anyone knows of a good paint as I am going to whitewash/decorate very soon, it would be much appreciated. ps Yes I have heard and read about Spanish builds/quality and insulation, our property was built 1990. Thank you, stay safe and healthy.

Any Ferreteria will be able to recommend a good paint that will treat the mould.

Hi Jim and thank you for the information supplied, we chose Brochacolor and the lady there was very helpful and the paint purchased was a good price and hopefully will do the trick, we had a busy 3 days but all done and dusted now, let’s wait and see if the mould returns, again thank you and stay safe and healthy. Peter

Hi Peter, thanks for the feedback. I went to Brochacolor myself last week, for a couple of tubs of my Favourite Adoral, plus some dye for white paint that I'll never use and wanted to re-purpose.

I've always found Brochacolor very helpful, plus their range of products is excellent, and their prices are good.
