Hello Beclot

I believe work is in progress regarding flooding areas in the Torrettas. Here's a link from a local newspaper   https://www.euroweeklynews.com/2021/08/01/promise-kept/

Not sure where the street is you mentioned but this might help. There are other recent articles too if you google.   Agent was correct, it's pouring  today.

Cheers

It’s raining heavily at the moment and a quick look on Google maps will hint at whereabouts the flooding is in the area. Lots of black traffic lines to indicate non moving traffic. One of the main problems in that area is around the Hiperber supermarket on the CV905. I’m sure if you look on Facebook later there’ll be numerous posts showing videos of that roundabout.

That roundabout at Hiperber supermarket is quite a distance from Calle Venus.

It’s not an area we’ve been, but looking at the map Calle Venus is next to the lake, which suggests it’s at the bottom of the hill and likely to flood when we have heavy rain.

Check out Google Earth.

Draw a line East/West from the main road -  Crevillente Road (which does flood in the areas mentioned) and check out the elevation profile - draw the line and save - right click on line and select 'show elevation profile'.

Do the same for north/south.

I think you will find there is no appreciable elevation change throughout the area.

I lived less than half mile away for 5 years and never witnessed nor heard of flooding in the area.
