Hi, I have a Mariah sc23 2007 with the Mercruiser mpi 5.0 ltr petrol engine..
An audio warning sound activates due to an overheating problem within the cooling system.
When this happens I noticed that I could keep my hands on the exhaust risers no problem. But the exhaust manifolds and thermostat housing was extremely hot..
Since I fitted a new thermostat and gasket to rule thermostat fault out but still exactly the same issue.
When I removed the pipes to thermostat housing i noticed two of the were blocked/clogged..
