I have decided not to bring any as there are none left from the bake!

It's surprising how quickly things like this can disappear.

Av. Federíco García Lorca, 92, local 5, 03178 Benijófar, Alicante

They are to die for

Angela,  Do they have to be ordered or can you walk in off the street?   Thanks.

Maybe be careful they do not have crosses on them as that now seems to cause offense

Oh how ridiculous, its a bun with a cross on it signifying a major event in the religious calendar, so why not just leave it alone.

For those who don't like it, or believe in it that's fine just trot off and buy some Jaffa Cakes or something.

If Iceland are actually doing this and I will check for myself to see, I will never again darken the door of any of their shops. What is actually happened in Britain?  It’s supposed to be a Christian country. Who in heaven’s name came up with thus ridiculous scheme?  It cannot be true. I am horrified

I’ve checked and Iceland are testing the water to see if there’s a demand for the bun with a tick. Authentic hot cross buns are still on sale.  There has been a huge outcry from Christians and non Christians.  The people at the helm need their heads test I for one will not be giving them my business in the future. We are fast losing our identity   The U.K. will be a Muslim country in te next few decades as forecast.

I cannot see the problem, all companies are perfectly entitled to undertake market research to decide how to proceed with what the majority of their customers want.

The practices of following Christian religious practices has been declining for a long time, this however is little to do with other religions but more a complete lack of interest on the part of many people, myself included.

It would be a culinary disappointment should hot cross buns as such be deemed insufficiently profitable to be continued, but this is an unlikely outcome I would think.

That is all the more reason for having the crosses. You won't be able to breath if some people have their way.
