Anyone know what's going on with the big car park next to the fair in Torre?

The Port area is being redeveloped. They are knocking the old Admin buildings at the moment to make way for the new development. It is to link the seafront more with the Town. There will be underground parking eventually. In the meantime there is still lots of parking farther in at the Leisure Port.

Do you mean on the CV905 heading out of town? I've been wondering about that myself. I know a new bus station has been talked about but I don't think it's that?

Out of curiosity I googled it. Quite an impressive proposal if it ever gets done.
Yes, I know I'm a bit cynical about such things. Where I live in UK, we've been waiting and campaigning for a simple bypass for over 50 years.

Shame a balance cannot be found between modernisation projects and keeping Torrevieja's Heritage.
So we've lost another fine structure in the old Port Offices. If only that could have been kept and utilised in the modernisation plans for the Port.
