Hi all, I want to buy an inexpensive rug to put on the cold tiled floor  for the winter months and which could be rolled up and stashed under the bed for summer. I looked in some of the Chino shops but no luck. Any suggestions?  Thanks.

We bought one from IKEA, it’s thick pile and rolls up in the hall for the summer(at eight feet square it’s too long for under the bed) E.

Hello Bubsy

Go to Torrevieja Market on a Friday morning, Ive seen a couple of stalls with a good selection of rugs that are not expensive, which is ideal as they are only down for  2/3 months of the year

Cheers

Leroy Merlin in La Zenia Boulevard has a good selection of rugs.

Hi Wriggs,

It's on the large car park, next to the Aquopolis water park - I've attached a map for you.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kimmy,

Thank you for prompt reply, do you know if there is a bus that goes there.

Purple Gran is right, go to IKEA. Far more modern, great quality and possibly cheaper. I’m told there’s a bus which takes shoppers there every week called David’s Tours orcRosa Tours.  Go online and look at the choice of rugs available from IKEA.
I’m guessing you don’t have a car as very often there are rugs at SATS ( dogs trust)on the road to Orihuela on Sunday and Wednesday mornings from 10 am to noon.

Leroy Merlin have some lovely rugs but pricier than Ikea  Hold off until Black Friday and you may get 20% off  Should be last Friday of November but check it out.

I have rugs beside our beds and throughout the house  …cosy but dirt collectors.  Well worth it for comfort
